TOPIC 1: Entertainment - First person narratives
Student Share (400-700 words): For students to share their perspectives about learning, facing the business world, stepping out of their comfort zones for the first time, etc. (HS or college students only)
Small Business Entrepreneurs - How I Started (600-800 words): For small business founders to share their unique story on how they created their brand.
TOPIC 2: Entertainment - Culture
SheUp Book Club (300-500 words): Book reviews for three books that have themes of female empowerment, strong female leads, or written by female authors.
SheUp Film Club (300-500 words): Movie reviews for movies featuring strong female leads, written/directed by women, etc. Some movies that do or don’t pass the Bechdel test, etc!
The Feminist Archive (300-500 words): A historical feature on one to three of your favourite impactful women in history! Could be anyone from Cleopatra to Queen Elizabeth
Women on the Rise (300-500 words): A feature on two to three of your favourite successful/influential women today! Rihanna, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, etc.
TOPIC 4: Business
Finance (400-600 words): Any tips/experiences you’d like to share on either personal or business finance.
Social Media on the Rise (400-600 words): The hot news on the hottest and newest social media platforms. Any tips, cool experiences? Things to know?

WRITE FOR THE SHEUP MAG!
Our second editorial print of uniquely created and curated content under the theme of COMMUNITY will be launching soon, and we are looking for passionate authors interested in being featured! Please note the available columns or, as an alternative, submit your own idea.
Our first issue theme is COMMUNITY, which may be defined as a collective of individuals linked together with a mutual purpose or identity in mutual support. You may define COMMUNITY however you’d like.
AUTHOR QUALIFICATIONS
The SheUp magazine will be a magazine created 100% by women. All authors must identify as female (or non-binary) to be considered.
The author must live/work in China or be connected with China in some way.
Authors in or are able to travel to Shanghai will be contacted for exclusive photoshoots for the magazine.
Interested in writing an article outside of these columns? Send us your idea and we would be happy to consider it for this issue.
